The White Squirrel
Inn and Venue
Built circa 1898 by George D. Munroe, this romantic Queen Anne Victorian home rests in the heart of the Quincy Historic District shaded by giant oaks laced with Spanish moss. The current owner, Mark Dickeson, attained the home in 1986. In 2018, Mark and his daughter, Victoria, began to rent out rooms to workers aiding in the disaster relief of Hurricane Michael. The home has since been deemed the “White Squirrel Inn” in honor of Quincy’s celebrated white squirrels. Enjoy a room for the night or rent the whole estate for a special event and a one-of-a-kind experience.
We are a father/daughter team who have renovated our historic home.
The owner of the home, Mark Dickeson, is retired from 30 years of federal service. He enjoys drinking coffee, working on antique cars, and grilling on the patio.
Victoria Dickeson Owenby (manager) is a newlywed living on a farm just south of downtown Quincy. She loves gardening, cooking healthy meals, and living a sustainable lifestyle.

“Mark and Victoria's place is charming--stained glass windows, high ceilings, spacious rooms and private baths. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Mark is a great host and had wonderful tips about the Quincy area. Next time we are in this part of Florida, we will definitely bypass Tallahassee hotels and enjoy the serenity and charm of the inn in Quincy.” -Jennifer
